Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of TheLookIQ (thelookiq.com), operated by FofX Digital LLP, [Registered address] (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or buying a package you agree to them.

1. What TheLookIQ is

TheLookIQ produces automated, personalised styling reports from photos and answers you provide, with optional AI-generated style simulations. Reports cover appearance, hair, colour, grooming, general skin-care education, clothing and accessories.

• Not medical advice. Reports are styling and lifestyle information. They are not a diagnosis, treatment or prescription. For any health or skin concern, consult a qualified professional.
• No scores. We do not rate attractiveness or infer age, ethnicity, personality or health.
• Simulations are illustrations. AI simulations show a possible style, not a predicted or guaranteed result.
• Reports are produced automatically. No person reviews your photos to produce them.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. Please give accurate information.

3. Photos of other people

You may request a report for another adult only if they are at least 18, have seen the photos you upload and have agreed to them being analysed. You must not upload photos of anyone under 18 or of anyone without their agreement. You are responsible for obtaining that agreement.

4. Packages and credits

• Packages and add-ons are one-time purchases. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.
• A purchase adds report credits and/or simulation credits to your account. One report credit produces one complete report; one simulation credit produces one AI simulation.
• Credits are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. We will remind you before they expire. Unused credits expire after that date and cannot be exchanged for money, except as described in section 6 and our Refund Policy.
• A credit entitles you to the report or simulation as we offer it at the time you use it. We may improve, change or replace features, methods and providers over time.
• Credits belong to your account, cannot be transferred or sold, and have no cash value.
• A credit is used only when a report or simulation is successfully delivered. If generation fails, the credit is returned.

5. Payment

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Prices are shown in US dollars and include applicable taxes, which Paddle calculates for your location.

6. Refunds and discontinuation

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, including the 14-day money-back guarantee on your first purchase. If we permanently discontinue TheLookIQ, we will refund the unused portion of credits that are still valid, in proportion to the price paid.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos and information you provide. You give us a limited licence to store and process them only to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your photos, or your whole account, at any time from your account settings.

8. Acceptable use

• Do not upload unlawful, sexual or violent content, or content you do not have the right to use.
• Do not attempt to misuse, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service.
• Do not use the service to make decisions about other people (for example employment or eligibility decisions).

We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

9. Our content

Reports are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. The service, its software and design remain our property.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee any particular outcome from following a recommendation. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in advance. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in [City], India having jurisdiction, without affecting mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
